Hi,

How do you configure snmp on a 3com router. Could you please put it in a form that would allow me to do it from the initialisation of a telnet session.

Thanks a lot,

Have you managed to get SNMP working yet? Let me know if this helps.

From "
Q15: How can I enable SNMP and the SNMP traps for my AccessBuilder® Remote Office and OfficeConnect Remote units ?

A15: SNMP trap destination address configured within the units is factory set at a default value of 0.0.0.0. This is an invalid address and acts to turn off all SNMP operation in the units. Therefore units left at this default SNMP configuration will not send out traps or respond to SNMP polls from a management (NMS) station. To enable the SNMP functions set the trap destination address to your management station's IP address. Note that you have to provide a private community string (= password) to enable your management station to support "SNMP Set" (writes) service.
