I would like to change the community name for all my Dell servers to something other than "public". However, when I change the community name in the SNMP server on Win2003 to something other than "public", my SNMP monitor fails. I restared the service, same deal. I am making the community name change on both my monitoring software and on the service too, however it's not working. I'm wondering if the Server Administrator software is hard-coded to use "public"? Anyone?
