SNMP application With C++

Hi guys,

Been reading some of the messages which have been posted on this forum in the hope that I may find an answer to my prob....but unforn, as yet nothing .

Would anybe able to tell me where I should be looking for tutorial/guide/help on building a simple snmp application to monitor a single printer? I've got the libraries from NET-SNMP but I just cant seem to get it to work....some sample source code would be very useful.
