Sniffer ver 2.50.07 ? Can we talk .........

I want to use the Sniffer ver 2.50.07 from NAI on our NW
it is so confusing can anyone tell me of a book I can purchase to get the best out of this product. Does any documentation come with the actaul product (we currently have the demo only) If we purchase what we need from
NAI Sniffer to monitor 10/100 Ethernet, TCP/IP, Frame Relay, it will cost approx $20,000.00 WOW !!
Is it worth it ?

I dont know of any one book that will help you....you just need a general understanding of the frame types and protocols that are on your network. And the classes they offer are wonderful in helping you get started. We got a portable setup with Gig capabilities....and YES it is more than worth it. We have only had ours for a couple of months but it has been wonderfull for t/s our network. You would be amazed what you can learn.
