Hi,
I am trying to setup start and stop triggers that a user can initiate when they think the network is running slow, and then reset so they can keep on doing this.
I have created a start capture filter based on a telnet to tcp port 4747 and the RST flag set to 1 for the no connection response. I have done the same for TCP port 5150 for a stop capture filter.
In the triggers setting in Sniffer Pro LAN 4.5, I have set the start trigger to use the start filter, and to run the default capture filter logging all data to disk. In the stop trigger settings, I have set the stop filter.
The starting of the capture works ok, but I cant get it to stop. Has anyone got any better doco on triggers? I have seen the basic one on the web site.
Thanks
Steve
