Hi,
Does anybody know Sniffer Literature or Handbooks.
Written from People they knows what's going on.

Thank you

Jörg

Thanks for the info. Do the Laura Chappell's books reference NAI Sniffer specifically? The packet-level.com site seems to promote Etherpeek heavily now.

Her first book was sniffer specific. Her second book uses both in the examples. A reasonably intelligent engineer can flip back and forth without too much trouble. I personally use NAI but a good friend uses Etherpeek and so it goes. The capture files posted were mostly gen'ed by Sniffer but I think Etherpeek can import them.

Did you ever get the documentation on Sniffer that you wanted? Email me at countryboy850442@aol.com on this date
(3-12-01) and I will share my documentation for Sniffer 4.0

I all have the update 4.5, but I have not had time to download it from NAI. When I do, you can have a copy of that as well.
