Hi Guys,
i have an old E1-Pod from Network General.
Has anyone some product informations or whitepapers about this "magic box" ??
I have unfortunately none and I would like to use this Pod.

Thanx

It depends on the POD. If it's a POD for the LM2000 card, then it is no longer supported on Sniffer Pro. If it's an ATM SAR POD, then it is still supported. Note that the LM2000 card itself is still supported for Sniffer Pro on Windows NT4. You'll need a licensed copy of Sniffer Pro 4.5, a Windows NT 4 workstation, the LM2000 card (which is an ISA card), and the appropriate serial y cable for your link (i'm guessing v.10/v.11?)

Hope this helps

Thanx Jeff,

it is no longer supported, but I have this Pod (E1-Pod Fractional) and I want to use it.
I have a LM2000-Card running under Sniffer Pro 4.5.
The Pod is detected as agent and the Sniffer Pro detects DTE and DCE when the Pod is powered-on.
But I have no documentation how the E1-Line is connected to the pod because I can t find our docs.

Has anyone a copy (.pdf-file) of this documentation ???
Thanx a lot
