Don't know much about SNIA training courses but like anything it all depends what your expectations are. I work mostly in an IBM/Brocade environment, and the IBM redbooks site has dozens of great covering SAN design and technologies
If you understand the technical aspects well enough, you can just pick up a good book and save yourself some money.
