Hi,
I am a newbe and would like to know how to change a config made with Snapview. In other words what are the steps to remove disks from the actuel config and reorganize the disk in another way. By the way I have to choose between cloning and snapshoting, I have a slight knowledge of the two things but I would like to get all the disks contain managed by one node to the order when I want to.
Thanks for help.

I don't undertand you question, you want to delete snapshots? clones? raid groups? what?

First, thanks for your reaction.
In fact I would like to delete what have been done (snapshot and raid) and rebuild every thing. I wonder
whether snapshot is better than clone for my case where
I have an Oracle database and I want to get the exact image
of the first node on the second node and vice versa, when I want.
Thanks again

Ok, you want to rebuild the whole CX. good:

1. Login Navisphere with administrative privileges
2. go to Snapview
3. Take all LUNs out of all storage groups
4. Stop all sessions (right click on snapshot>stop)
5. Destroy all sessions (right click on snapshot>destroy)
6. Unbind all LUNs (right-click on LUN>destroy)
7. Destroy all RAID groups

Recreate as you need:

1. creare RAID groups (right-click on CX icon> create RAID group) selecting the desired disk drives
2. bind luns according to your requirements (BCVs are common LUNs, see notes bellow)
3. on Snapview, right-click, create Clone
4. select source LUN
5. select BCV LUN (common LUN, but with this is marked as BCV)
7. after done, right click in the BCV (or clone) and sinchronize

Notes:
- BCV is a common LUN. It's marked as BCV when you assign it as BCV
- BCV must reside in a different RAID group than its source
- BCV must be excalty the same size (geometry) than its source

Hope this helps.
