snap to grid with pen tool

I used to work with psp earlier and always thougth it was so easy to use. At version 8 thing got complicated and not so obvious any more, now with version 9 I can not figure out how to make a rectangle with simillair rounding on the corners. if I use the rectangle tool it makes them not equal rounded as I want them (and everybody else I suppose). I used to do this with pen tool before, but now it is not longer snapping to grid and I can't do what I want - to make a long story short....help meeeeee
