Netvault enabled via Snap Server WebGUI.

Netvault 7.1 installed on client
Client machine name and password assigned.

Client added on Snap Server WebGUI.

When I start Netvault on client, receive login dialog, but password is not accepted.

Looking at logs on Snap Server it states the login was denied due to incorrect password.

I set it the same in both locations.

Any ideas?

When I ssh into the snap server and run 'tpa nv status' I get the following:

distribution does not exist, not installed, not enabled, not running.

When I look at the /hd/.../BakBone/Netvault
directories, they seem to be populated and when I use VI to look at clientlist.txt it has the client name in there.

I tried 'tpa nv ctl uninstall' but get
failed (status=SYS_ERR_LOCKING_OPENFILE_FAILED (100440))

Get this even if I uncheck enable on WebGUI.

Tried to reboot the Snap Server a couple of times as well.

Type "cat /etc/.nv6_home"

Did any support org walk you through installing manually? I t sounds like someone performed a manual install from the info I have so far. Which mean that you will have to do a manual un-install.

Have you contact SnapSupport to help you get this cleared up?
