Snap problems 1

Hi. I am working on an ad and I'm trying to move a text box into position. I have ALL snaps turned off and nothing on the page has a text wrap applied. And yet it won't let me put the box exactly where I need it; it snaps up or down as if it were snapping to the grid. Can anyone help? Thanks so much!

Check to see if baseline grid is enabled for that box.

I think you can also hold down one of your keys (ctrl, alt, shift, command, etc) while dragging/sizing to temporarily disable snapping.
