I do not know how I was blest with the arrival of Snap.Do.
It appears to be a search engine which has taken priority over IE10 on my W7 machine.
I have eradicated any knowledge of it using control panel but it still appears every time I bring up IE.
Can someone please tell me how I can get rid of it?
Thanks

From their website:

How do I remove the Resoft Smartbar customized Web Search?

Internet Explorer users
Open your browser's Search menu (upper-right corner of your browser) by clicking the arrow.
Choose Change Search Defaults…
Select Resoft Smartbar Search Web Search.
Click the Remove button, and then click OK.

Thanks folks
I wouldn't have looked to SnapDo themselves for help! [pc1]

Me neither, but their advice involved IE settings as opposed to running some software they wrote. The link strongm gave is much more comprehensive though.
