SN716 - Console headset volumes

I have a 2000IPS with two SN716 consoles. When the Receptionist uses the handset the transmission volume is so low people can hardly hear her. This happens on internal & external calls. If she uses the headset the transmit volume is OK. This is the same on both consoles. Is there some setting I am missing here?

When installing the console you need to press loop 3 and 6 and then plug in the power. Doing this will bring up a menu on the screen and you choose headset or handset. I don't have the document in front of me but its pretty straight forward.
