Hi,

Many of our extensions(230 to be exact) cannot call out although there is dial tone. I have just checked the register count and it is over 200! Is that excessive?
Going thru past posts on register problems I think I'm having register problems and so made a reset to clear the register. Well, the counts are still there and our cosole SN-716 cannot receive calls now. I have tried calling the console extension but the call just drops.Before calling the contractor in is there anything I can do? Any help will be greatly appreciated. We use ips2000.

Switch from day to nights and back then check it is in the right mode!
 

Thanks OzzieGeorge. That did help. Now the receptionist can receive and make calls.

Ok

So now lets analyze the outgoing problem. What type of lines are you using? Can analogue phones call internally to other extensions and do Dterms have the same problem?
