Getting SMXMessages Event ID 27 errors over and over again in the application event log. Also Event ID 26 Information about possible missing dlls or registry entries. "The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer." Someone recently uninstalled some software and caused a Directory Services log file corruption, that was cleared using a Safe Mode boot to fix the Directory logs. Also some service startups were changed, ( Consultant did this, I'm not sure which services) and since then the APP Event log is filling up every few seconds. The events repeat every 15 seconds. MSMQ is used for a Workflow application, there are two services Frontstep Posting Queue Listener and Frontstep Processing Queue Listener that are set to started/automatic. I'm thinking of uninstalling and reinstalling the Message queueing service - or should I shut down the Frontstep services?
