I have a laptop running Server2003 and IIS with the SMTP service. The laptop will be used in a tradeshow demonstration. The tradeshow site will provide DHCP of private IP addresses with Internet access. Part of the demo requires sending out an email alert.

If I don't have a smarthost, how can I send email through the laptop's SMTP service without having every message be rejected because of relaying?

Right click on the Default Smtp Virtual Server..properties/Access/Relay and choose all but the list below. Restart SMTP/IIS
