SMTP Virtual Server queue problem

Hello,
Had a problem for the last 2 days, hope somebody can help.
Mail comes in to the company through a smart host (MIMESweeper) and then onto a server configured as a bridgehead.
The problem is that mail keeps on queueing in the "messages with an unreachable destination" folder on the bridghead.
However, if I reboot the server, on restart the mail starts to flow (goes to the site (Local delivery) folder and routes to mailboxes correctly). Then, after a short period of time, new mail arriving at the bridghead server starts to queue in the "messages with an unreachable destination" folder again.
Getting pretty fed up of looking into this now

Start by doing an Enumerate and check the first one stuck if you see any other reason listed.
