SMTP timeout while connected

Hello,

I have one e-mail address that will send me the following message about 70% of the time. I am not using the actual address.

first.last@domain.com
Delay reason: Connection timeout
SMTP timeout while connected to mail.domain.com [123.123.123.123] after end of data

The e-mail provider of first.last@domain.com says that it is a problem at our end.
My e-mail provider claims that it is a problem at their end.

I figured I would ask an independant party.

Have you tried sending to the same e-mail address from another mail account like hotmail.com or yahoo.com? That way you can eliminate which end is having the issue. joegz
