SMTP SETTING FOR GOOGLE

I have a IP OFFICE 500 running ip office mode, version 7.0.31.
Does anyone know the smpt settings for google. I will have multiple user's that will want voicemail to email.
Majority have google mail. Any info would help!!

embedded doesn't work, neither does vm pro
but the settings for google are easily googled

You can use gmx.com accounts instead and go here to find the settings

I dont think it works with Googlemail - as it used port 587 for secure SMTP relaying.

GMX is the preferred method.

Or use a local install of hMailserver or IIS / SMTP to relay off.

The recipients mail account is of no importance, you can set any email address in the user settings.
You must setup SMTP in the IP Office System and you cannot use Gmail for that.
