SMTP service on IIS 4.0?

Does anyone know how I can add this service? I didn't find anything on the option pack 4 cd. We have an IIS4.0 server which has been running for years, but just recently some of the application developers want to utilize the SMTP feature using CDONTS. I have to make changes to the default SMTP server to do this, and it is not there so I need to add it.

Does anyone know how I can do this on IIS4.0??

well SMTP is part of the option pack 4. you'll have to check again.

Run the installer for the Option Pack from the CD.
In the selection boxes, make sure you add a tick next to SMTP Service, ( this is a sub inside IIS).

When you click on the install button this will add the SMTP service to your IIS installation.
