smtp queue full

My event veiwer is giving event id 3024 saying smtp queue is full. I can't seemt to find any information on how to clear this queue. I also get event ID 4083unable to validate the message queue data file. I'm not sure how to fix this not much support for 5.5 out there.

Are u able t see the queue thru Internet Mail Services properties.

Mine filled over the Holiday weekend. How about your Excahnge (assumption) config? I had specified an smtp server that was not dns aware, and it choked. Took that off, and I have half my battle solved.
