Hello,

I am using SBS 2003 with Exchange 2003 and Windows server 2003.

I have configured a smart host to send my email out via comcast at smtp.comcast.net which seems to be working, albeit slowly.

My problem/question is that one user's email is also forwarded to an outside mail server outside of our domain and this does not seem to be working properly as the original sender is receiving an NDR that the mail has been delayed to the forwarding domain.

I take that back it seems that all mail is somewhat delayed in sending from my Exchange server to the internet via comcast's smtp server.

Has anyone encountered this problem or can anyone recommend a fix?

Thanks!

Move to business grade service and get a public IP so you can send/receive direct from your server without going through Comcast.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Regards,

Mark
