smtp protocol event sink in queues

when I try to send to aol.com My exchanger box has this in the queues.

The connection was dropped due to an SMTP protocol even sink.

Can someone help me to fix this, and stop it from happening?

Is this a reverse DNS issue?

other than reverse DNS what can cause this. Our reverse DNS seems to be working fine and is registered with out ISP.

It is certainly a reverse dns error that I am getting. 421 DNS:NS. I found the error on their web site, and it said to check reverse dns with their tool. My IP passed without any problems.


I will call aol tech support.

Yes, but does the rDNS entry match what your Exchange server is sending out? Does it match the MX record? Or is something like blahblahblah.isp.com

yes it resolved it perfectly. Same name as my server.
