SMTP notification every 15mins!

We have setup SMTP notification in Backup Exec 8.6 for several of our customers, so we get emails notifying us of events and can ask our customers to act accordingly.

The problem is, if a customer forgets to put in a tape (and they are out of the office) we get bombarded with smtp notifications every 15 mins. Is there a way of changing time intervals (perferably just to a single notification!).
