SMTP error on fax confirmation

We're running Windows Server 2008 with Gmail as our email service.

I've got the fax server setup properly so we can send out and receive faxes. I'm now trying to set the server to email a confirmation for each fax sent.

I am getting this error each time:

The fax service has failed to generate a positive delivery receipt using SMTP.
The following error occurred: 0x80040213
The error code indicates the cause of the error.

I've done by fair share of searching, but can't find anything to rectify the problem.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Do you get an event ID along with that error code?

The event ID is 32085

Just to clarify, the fax sends fine and is received fine on the other end, correct? Its just the confirmation of sent email that is having issues?
