SMTP Authentication Help

All our company email is currently hosted with a company that provides soem other services for us as well. Due to the large amounts of spam we are receiving I was looking into using a company called MX Logic to filter our email for spam.

In order to make this work I had to change our MX records to point to their servers and then in their control panel I had to route the email back to our hosted email accounts smtp servers.

The problem I ran into and 6 hours of email down time was that our hosted email accounts require smtp authentication in order to connect and the MX Logic service didn't provide this functionality. I looked at other companies and a lot of them are the same way.

I have a hosted dedicated Windows 2003 server and I was wondering if it is possible to route our email through MX Logic and then to the hosted servers SMTP that will then pass it on to the authenticated SMTP servers. I know its a few extra jumps but I am not that worried about it I am more concerned about removing the bulk of our spam.

I am also open to other ways of doing it, any help would be greatly appreciated.
