SMTP and VPN problem

I have two locations connected by a lan to lan vpn.(Cisco concentrator 3015 to Pix 501)
Right now we have a exchange 5.5 doing our IMC in Site A. I want to move the IMC to a New exchange 2003 box in site B. MY problem is when I try to do a Telnet hostname 25 from site A to the new exchange 2003 server in site B I get this

0 ***************2******200***0****00 *0*00


But when I try to do this from a computer from the same site it looks like its working

turn off PIX mail guard.

no fixup protocol smtp 25
