Hi all,
After doing a swing-migration, and with both my Exchange 2000 (server1) as well as my Exchange 2003 (server2) box in the air and working, I am seeing messages going from SERVER1-IS@mydomain.com to SERVER2-IS@mydomain.com. The problem seems to be that they can not be delivered to the second address, and hence the queue increases gradually.
The addresses themselves do not ring a bell, and I have not been able to figure out a)what the messages are about, b)how to re-route them or otherwise make sure they're delivered instead of queued. Attempts to add the SMTP address to another (checked) account render an error, as the address is already existing. I have no clue what account owns it, though....
Obviously, this particular address is generated/associated with some service or process (Information Store?), and formed by using the servername, followed by '-IS' ... anybody know what it is and what it is used for?
TIA,
