I am building a Secondary Site on a Server (not a PDC or BDC) in the Domain with about 30 other Site Servers.
In the SMSLOG0N\SITES AND SMSLOGON\SITECFG Directory there are folders and files assoicated with all of the other 30 Sites. This new site I'm building does not show up in these two folders on the SMSLOGON share for any of the Site Servers (including the Senior Site). I have deleted and rebuilt this site several times. It appears to install correctly. Without these two Folders (which are configuration folders for the PC's SMS client software), I am not getting any inventory information for any of the Client's PCs. I have checked the Client's logs and of course it is going to SMSLOGN looking for the config files for site code XXX, which don't exist. Has anyone seen this problem before? Thanks for any assistance

If it's a PDC or BDC the SMSLOGON share is created by default. If not you have to enable either Windows networking Logon Discovery or Windows Networking Client Installation. Otherwise this share is not created.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
GSC
