SMS2003 Database on SQL 2000 Cluster

Hi,

Does someone tried to install SMS2003 Database on a SQL 2000 SP3a Cluster (Windows Server 2003) and SMS 2003 SP1 server separately? Did you suceeded? Actually this is not supported by MS, but anyway the question is : IS it techically possible? Can you point me a link with info of how to do it?

Ive heard that something to do with the SMS provider service is why this doesnt work, and of people trying this with inconsistent results..and of course it makes your entire sms setup unsupported by MS, should you have any problem.

I've seen this article and I know about "unsupported configuration" ... but anyway what should I do to make this configuration work?

Not a way that anyone I know has shared with anyone, a consultant friend of mine went to a place where they had it setup but he said it had a lot of performance issues that were cleared up when he removed it from the cluster.

Sorry I cant lead you to a real answer on it...I just have never seen one since 2003 has been out. (I live in the forums )
