SMS1.2 shange directory permission!!

Hello,
I’m administering SMS1.2 i have a serious problem, with the default SMS directories share "SMS-PKGD,SMS-Site, SMS-SHRD, SMS-SHR"by default the all user group have full control on those directories and they are some virus using those shares to propagate through the network, now I have to restrict permission by giving the Full control permission to administrator group and just read to the all user group, but i want to know if this action can cause any problem in SMS.
