SMS Uninstall MS Project with no source files 1

Hello,

SMS is showing that we have many unused MS Project licenses in our environment. We would like to use SMS to silently uninstall unused copies of the software, but many systems don't have the installer source available. Furthermore, Project may have been installed in a variety of ways (from network drives, local media, etc.)

Any suggestions on how to perform an uninstall with SMS with the source not necessarily available?

You could use the msi zapper to remove installations where the source files are not available.

Thank you for the suggestion. Will MSI zapper leave the program files and shortcuts on the machine?

I would like to reclaim the licenses but also need a somewhat "clean" uninstall.

The zapper will remove the shortcuts on the machine. I think that the program files will remain but they are useless. For a clean uninstall you'll need the source files.
