New to SMS.
The Verison of SMS is 2003 ver 2.5 build 3174 the server itself is 2003 std ed no service packs
From the SMS console under the tools menu I am atttempting to connect to the SMS Service Manger. When I attempt to Start the service manger I recevie an error that states.
Error communicatiing with the specified SMS Site Server.
I am trying to run the service manger from the SMS server itself I am logged in with my account which i have given as many permissions as possible(ie collections etc). I also have logged in with the account that SMS was set up with and receive the same message.
Any help would be great I was handed this mess and the guy who left told me good luck. I would rather try to fix this then start again.
