My company has just gone throught the process of merging two NT resource domains together. One of the outcomes of this was that our SMS 1.2 server moved from one resource domain to another. This movement went well and all function of SMS appear to be working correcly.

I am no however left with the situation where-by client machines and the SMS server still think that the SMS server is sitting in the the old domain. This means that all of the clients still apear in the the Adminitrator program under the old resource domain and the properties of the main site still show the site server doain as the old domain name.

Does anyone know a fast method of changing this in SMS or a utility that may perform this job without the need to reinstall SMS and all of it's child sites?

Oooh, you're deep in "not supported" territory. To change domain name or computer name after SMS is installed, you must remove your installation of SMS, change names, and reinstall the site.
