I have a server of SMS (old) and we have just installed a new server of SMS, we have 2500 computers in net, some of them appear in the new server but some not. The question is: what I have to make so that all the computers appear in the new server of SMS.

The operative systems are Win98 and XP.

I have just taken the administration of this servers, my experience is little with SMS

Greetings

oh...

Well if your asking how to get your clients to use the new site only, you would send out a package that removes the client remove the current boundaries off the old site, add the boundaries in the new site then the new site should start adding them wiht your install method.

If you just wait it will also do the same thing it will just take a lot longer.

You wouldnt want your servers to have overlapping boundaries

In order for sms2.0 to do this you will need to remove the existing client from the machine. Theoretically if you remove the boundaries off the old server and add them to the new one when the client sees its in the wrong location (unless its setup for roaming) it will automatically do this anyway.
