I am using sms in an active directory environment on a large European domain. The domain contains 3 seperate sms primary sites with numerous secondary sites per parent. This is for regional and administrative purposes.
I have removed a secondary site called GY1 from a primary site. The site is no longer visible on the sms database. The reason I have deleted the site as a mistake was made when entering the server name - instead of SEUGY-GC002 the site was configured SEUGY-GC003.
The problem I have is that although I have deleted the site, when I delete the logon points at the domain controllers, they automatically update with the incorrect server name. Where is sms getting this information from? The site no longer exists and nor does the server.
