I have created a package which works correctly, except I need to change the install folder permissions to allow users modify permissions.

I have changed the permissions when I created the package but the snapshot process doesn't take any notice.

I have been told that I need to create a 'Custom Action' to use CACLS to change the permissions. I have a batch file using CACLS to make the required changes but

How do I do the 'Custom Action'?
or
How do I run the batch file after the package?

Or what is the best method to change folder permissions within the creation of a new package?
