SMS Installation

I am a complete newbie to SMS
I was assigned to testing it and I cannot even get it to install properly. I started with a clean installation of Windows 2000 adv server and I upgraded unbtil SP4. (I run a typical installation) Then, I installed SQL 2000 Personal Edition. ANd then I tried to install SMS 2003 Server and the only option that allows me to intall is Management tools. The other ones are dimmed out.

Your problem is probably associated with using SQL2000 Personal Edition, instead of Standard or Enterprise. Just my guess.
