SMS --> IIS --> Danger?

Hi Everyone,

We want to install a SMS to be able update the domain users windows. From what I can read, it requires IIS. Will this bring security issue on the server? The server has DNS, ADS, Norton Center Management, File and Printers, so no web service so far.

What do you think? Any advice? Any alternative solution to be able to update all windows from the server?
