I am trying create a CAP and I get this error trying to start the SMS Executive service on that server:

Could not establish a connection to the site server using the SMS Service Connect Account. Possible cause: SMS Site Component Manager does not have sufficient access rights to administer the site system. Solution: Verify that the Site System Connection accounts are properly configured to allow SMS to administer the site system. SMS Site Component cannot install component SMS_EXECUTIVE until the program runs successfully. If this problem persists and you cannot fix it, refer to your SMS documentation or the Microsoft Knowledge Base for further troubleshooting information.

What account is the SMS Service Connect Account? I am running SMS 2.0 SP5.

Any ideas will be appreciated.

The fix for this one was actually pretty easy. I actually found it while working on another problem. It was a NTFS rights issue in the directories on the share. Once I fixed thr rights things seemed to begin working.
