I am trying to update a package on secondary site but keep getting following message in SMS Status Message Viewer.
"SMS Despooler failed to merge delta to the compressed package "XXX0009E". The operating system reported error 11: An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format.
Possible cause: The destination drive is full.
Solution: Make more space available on that drive. SMS Despooler will attempt to merge the delta again during its next retry interval."
Destination drive is 62% free (42.5 GB), so I guess it is fair to assume it's not drive issue.
All components for this server including SMS_Despooler are running correctly as viewed in SMS Service Manager.
Directory SMS\inboxes\despoolr.box\receive contains .sni and .try files.
Despool.log contains error "Cannot merge delta....and Despooler failed to execute the instruction..."
Waiting for ready instruction file....

This is the version 9 of the package that has already been distributed to other 32 secondary sites without a hitch (and 6 times previously to this site).
So far:
I have deleted all outstanding jobs for this site using preinst.exe deljob utility, restarted SMS_Exec service, reset counters. No change when new update sent.
Don't want to push the same job out again without proper fix as delta version on this site will be out of whack by 5 versions comparing to the other sites.
Would anyone know the best way to solve this?
