I have a computer that is not being detected by the SMS server and not having the SMS services installed on it. It has an IP number directly between 2 computers which ARE being detected, which makes me think it's more specifically computer related. Also, I have 2 or 3 computers which were detected when SMS first installed, but haven't been able to get an updated hardware inventory for over a month, and they've been on the network the whole time. Any suggestions?

[I'm assuming you have SMS 2.0]
Can you access network resources from this device?
Is the Systems Management icon seen in Control Panel?
Is there a ms file or directory in %windir%?
Is the environment variable "sessionname" set?
What discovery method are you using?
Have you tried running smsls.bat or smsman?
