SMS 2003 install problem

Hi, I want install a sms2003 in our NT domain. But when we going to the step "waiting for the windows user account to be synchronized", it stop and waiting. Why?

My domain is NT4.0, I install a SMS 2003 in a windows 2003 server.

Because the accounts will synchorize with Active Directory and you have none. Turn off your Active Directory Discovery methods.

Opps ... I should have read the question carefully. I never done the installation with no AD controllers but I will still attempt to help. It seems to me that this is a permissions problem. Do you have the proper administrative permissions for the service account? In addition, when it ask you about extending the AD Schema, did you answer yes? You should not enable this.
