Hi all,

we are implementing a new SMS 2003 infrastructure, we are receiving this message on a particular SMS server (and not on any others):

1. SMS_STATUS_MANAGER (message id: 619) Microsoft SQL Server reported SQL message 170, severity 15: [42000][170][Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Line 1: Incorrect syntax near 'The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted.'.

2. SMS_STATUS_MANAGER (message id: 619) Microsoft SQL Server reported SQL message 105, severity 15: [42000][105][Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Unclosed quotation mark before the character string 'The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted.'.

This is pretty much a fresh installation that was done a few days ago, this message has been occurring every 10 minutes over the last 2 days.
ODBC connectivity tests successfully, if anyone has any ideas or could help in any way it would be much appreciated,

Thanks Edney.

I've seen this happen in the past when a machine has a forced reboot...something like shutdown.exe. And especially when multiple sites are connected and its a forced shutdown. Stop that and they will/should go away.
