SMS 2003 connection failed problem

Hi,

I'm testing SMS 2003 and have installed the 120 day trial from Microsoft. I have the sms server and sql db set up on the same machine. The machine is also the distribution point and management point etc for now. Everything was working fine until i walked in one morining and found i had a 'connection failed to site' error when i opened up the admin console. Ever since then i cannot get sms backup and running. I've looked at variuos log files and they say:

does anyone have any idea where it is going wrong? I would like to get up and running again before the 120 dys are up!!

I had a similiar problem. The problem was with my connection account to the SQL database. I fixed it by going to the SMS prgram folder and running SMS Setup to reset the SMS setup. During the reset process, I set the SQL access account to Windows Logon instead of a specific account name. I worked after that. Good luck.
