SMS 2003 and Printers...

Hello all. I wanted to know if SMS 2003 will inventory Network Printers, Local Printers, Cisco Switches and Routers?

If so, how would I go about doing that?

SMS still inventories using the profile of the SMS service account. So, for network printers and such, it will inventory those devices listed under that profile (which usually means there are no such devices installed under that profile).

You can do a bit of a workaround to get the inventory by utilizing the script at SMSExpert.com:
