Under SMS 2003 - Using the Client Push Installation Wizard on an existing collection. The collection has four PCs - each running Windows XP. Three PCs have the Advanced SMS client installed (previously done via a manual install on each PC) and the remaining PC does not have the SMS Client installed - shows as ASSIGNED=YES and CLIENT=NO.
Looking at the CCM.LOG on the SMS 2003 Server shows the Client Push Installation Wizard "job" skipping over the three clients that already have the Advanced Client installed, but the remaining PC (the one I am trying to push the SMS client software on to) doesn't even show up in the log.
I have "refreshed" the collection to make sure that everything is up to date - all 4 PCs show.
Background information:
Server is Windows 2003 Server with SMS 2003 and SQL 2000 installed. Using Standard Security. Not using Active Directory. WINS has the MP_xxx and SMS_SLP entries in the database. The bounds subnet is 64.176.32.0 with mask 255.255.240.0 which gives an IP address range of 64.176.32.0 to 64.176.47.254. Offending client PC has a IP address of 64.176.38.252 and is running Windows XP SP1.
Any hints or suggestions?
