Hi,
I am working in a SMS 2.0 SP3 environment. We are using Compaq ML570's (new) servers. We are also using Network Teaming to provide a larger bandwidth and network fault tolerance.
We have noticed, however, that when we use network teaming, our SMS servers hang. We have been working with Microsoft to correct the problem. We know that the problem specifically caused when NIC teaming (either fault tolerance, load balancing, or Cisco Fast Ether channel) is used. The hang is caused by an RPC hang.
When we turn off Network teaming, our SMS site servers will not hang. I was wondering if anyone out there is using any kind of network teaming? If so, what type of hardware/software are you using?
