Can anyone help me out with the Windows NT Remote Client Installation part of SMS? I am running SMS 2.0 SP2 on a Windows 2000 member server. My server has discovered about 350 workstations but has only installed the client on about 10 stations. My boundaries are as wide as my network. I have admin rights to my workstations through the SMS IDs. My logong points on my DCs work but I really don't want to use logon installation. The trick here is that my workstations are in a resouce domain and my user IDs are in another domain. Unfortunately I can't change that. Plus I don't know if that really metters. I have network discovery enabled on the resource domain my workstations are a member of. If anyone can help I appreciate it. If you need more info I'll post it. Thanks.

I found a utility on called ADDSYS which might help you in your cause. It's freeware that will create a DDR from the client and send to the server then the client install will take place. You need to change the ini file some before it works right. Just read the help on it. Hope it works.
